Life hack: A simple way to get your home brewed coffee tasting goodFebruary 15, 2019
Cleaning your coffee maker once a month will help keep it running longer and your coffee tasting better.
Before cleaning your coffee maker make sure to remove the used coffee grounds and coffee from the pot. Fill the water reservoir with 1/2 warm or hot water and 1/2 white vinegar. Run the coffee maker like you would if you were making coffee. Doing this will loosen and remove buildup inside the machine. When the cycle is complete, pour out the water and vinegar from the pot. Then run just water through the coffee maker again in the same way, this time without the vinegar. I usually do it twice to make sure the taste of vinegar is completely gone. Enjoy your next cup of fresh coffee!
