From January 12th thru 21st, federal government workers can receive free admission for one worker and a friend. Proof of government employment required. Plus on January 18, the Science Center will have a “Science with a Twist” event which is an adults only speakeasy-style event with activities and cocktails. Federal workers will get free admission to that event as well.
From now until January 20th all federal workers will get a free game of laser tag Monday thru Thursday, or 50% off unlimited laser tag (normally $19.99), Friday thru Sunday. Grab up to 3 friends to join for free.
Cell Phone Companies
Sprint Customer Care is prepared to work with federal government employees seeking short-term payment solutions. Government workers can call Sprint at 888-211-4727.
Government workers can call T-Mobile at 1-877-746-0909 to discuss short-term payment options.
Government workers can join Verizon’s “Promise to Pay” program and set a future payment date. You can sign-up through the Verizon app or call 1-866-266-1445.
At the end of the day, my advice is to do something. If you are going to fall behind on any bills, contact the company immediately and discuss your current situation. It is better to communicate than to go silent. Most companies are willing to work with you–they know that having to go without a paycheck is out of your control.
