I finally discovered how to make crispy chicken wings without having to fry them. The secret ingredient is baking powder!
1/2 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp salt
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Take the wings and dry them out. Either leave them in the fridge overnight or take a paper towel and dry them. Mix the baking powder and salt in bowl. Take the wings place them in a separate bowl and mix in the baking powder and salt so it coats the wings evenly. Take a cooking tray and put some foil down and coat it lightly with oil so the wings won’t stick. Spread the wings evenly on the tray and place it in the bottom oven rack and let them cook for 30 minutes at 250 degrees. This process dries out the wings so they’ll be extra crispy. Now take out the wings and turn the oven up to 425 degrees. Place the wings in the middle oven rack for 40 to 50 minutes. Once the wings are dark golden brown they are done. Take them out of the oven and coat them with your own homemade hot wings sauce. Now enjoy them crispy wings.
