Things you should reuse to make life easierJune 5, 2019
Reusable means saving money and less waste. Here are some must-have items to keep on reusing.
Don’t throw out that empty spray bottle. Spray bottles have a ton of reuses and purposes plus they don’t cost anything to acquire because they come with the items we’ve already purchased. You can use them to store so many homemade cleaning supplies. Spray water to unwrinkle your shirt or wet down your hair and the list goes on. So when that bottle of whatever is empty clean it and reuse it.
Invest in a reusable water bottle. You will save time and money, and probably more hydrated. Carrying around a refillable water bottle will force you to stay more hydrated because it is in your face. Plus you will spend no money on buying water because it is free. Lastly, when you travel, you can carry water with you once you get thru security and often airports have those free fill a water bottle stations.
Food storage containers
Reusing to go containers can save you a ton of money. No need to go out and buy a set of food storage containers. Instead, make a point to eat out at restaurants where you like there to go containers. You can use them at home for leftovers or for lunch to bring to work or school. One of my favorite places for sturdy reusable to go containers is Pew Wei and PF Chang’s.
Foam soap dispensers
Buy your foaming hand soap but when that bottle is empty, don’t throw it out. Did you know the secret to foaming soap is in the dispenser? Make your hand soap ( Click here for my DIY recipe) or refill it with already made hand soap refill.
