Crispy Baked Wings with Spicy BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
• 12 chicken wings (defrosted)
• 1 tsp baking powder (modest scoop)
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp olive oil
• 4 tbsp Japanese or Korean BBQ sauce
• 1–2 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to spice preference)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Pat wings dry thoroughly with a paper towel.
In a large bowl, mix:
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
Add wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
Drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil and mix again to coat.
Place wings on a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
At 20 minutes, flip and rearrange the wings for even cooking.
After 30 minutes, flip again and bake an additional 5–10 minutes for desired
crispiness.
While wings finish baking, in a separate bowl mix:
4 tbsp Japanese or Korean BBQ sauce
1–2 tbsp Sriracha (based on spice preference)
Remove wings from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then toss in the sauce until evenly
coated.
